ShowPatterns.com

For show organizers and secretaries

Publish every pattern for your show in one professional book.

Collect the classes, arrange them by discipline, set the show details once, and publish one mobile-friendly link and one complete PDF for exhibitors, staff, and judges.

Set show details once

A Show Book can supply its Show Name and Show Date to every included pattern while each class keeps its own header.

Organize by discipline

Create movable sections for Horsemanship, Ranch Riding, Showmanship, Trail, or the order used by your show.

Publish one source

Generate the cover, contents, page numbers, online viewer, and complete PDF from the same frozen version.

Build the class list

Organize patterns without editing every page by hand.

Create a Show Book for the event, enter the Show Name and Show Date, then add existing saved patterns. Those book details are the default headers for the included pages, while class names continue to come from each pattern.

When one class needs a different header in this book, override only that occurrence. The underlying pattern and its use in other books remain unchanged.

  • Add a saved pattern without creating a duplicate.
  • Use the Show Book's name and date across every pattern by default.
  • Override or hide an individual book header when needed.
  • Move patterns between named discipline sections and reorder the sections.

Publish the handout

Let the cover, contents, and page numbers assemble themselves.

Choose Letter or A4, customize the cover, and decide whether the contents pages should list discipline sections or every pattern. Publishing calculates the final page order and saves a read-only version.

Exhibitors receive one online link that works on a phone, tablet, or desktop. The show office can download the same version as one PDF for printing or posting.

Handle corrections clearly

Keep the published record stable.

Edits remain in the working Show Book until you publish again. A corrected publication receives a new version number and link, while the earlier version stays exactly as issued.

The owner can turn sharing on or off for each version. Published books remain unlisted from public search and are available to people who have the enabled link.

Frequently asked questions

Plain answers about this workflow.

Can a Show Book use the same Show Name and Date on every page?

Yes. Those values are set on the Show Book and are the default for patterns added to it. Individual entries can override or hide them.

Can the table of contents list disciplines instead of every class?

Yes. The default contents mode lists sections, and you can instead choose to list every pattern.

Can I update a book after it is published?

Continue editing the working Show Book, then publish a corrected numbered version. Existing published versions do not change.

Are published Show Books listed publicly?

No. Current published links are unlisted. Anyone with an enabled link can open it, and the owner can turn that link off.
